A few days ago, seasoned Broadcast journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah, shared her thought about her dislike for some activities of the political parties in Ghana. She specifically referred to NPP and NDC. She said, “I think Ghanaians should wake up and smell the coffee. I think these two political parties are taking us for us a ride. They’ve taken us for granted, they’ve done it before.”
She continued, “The president today in the Volta Region should be telling us exactly how many jobs he has created in the Volta Region alone, he shouldn’t be reminding us of what John Mahama didn’t do or said and hadn’t said. We are not interested in that. There are problems in the Volta Region, he should be telling us what he has done to address those problems”.
Her comment has generated a lot of replies. Some negative and other positive. Although, one Nana Ansah Obofour has allegedly lambasted Nana Aba Anamoah, calling her names like “useless, hopeless Mahama photoshop” who “sleeps with people’s husbands for money”,
Boss of Shatta Movement and Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale thinks otherwise. Reacting to Nana Aba Anamoah’s comment, Shatta Wale says that Ghanaians should Stop pretending and make Ghana better.
Allegedly, Shatta took to his Facebook and wrote, “speak the same language so that the country can become better for its citizens”. He added that he has allegedly received so many complaints about the hardship in Ghana but wonder if the government is aware.
“Welcome to Ghana where everyone is afraid to speak the truth … Thank you Nana Aba Anamoah… have received so many complaints myself from fans, friends, business associates and boys selling on the streets that the suffering is too much and I wonder if the government is aware… It’s time we stop pretending and speak the same language so this country can be better for us all.”
