All strike-affected oil and gas fields in Norway’s oil sector are expected to be fully operational again within days, Equinor (EQNR.OL) said on Wednesday. Equinor ASA, formerly Statoil ASA, is a Norwegian-based energy company engaged in the exploration and production of oil and gas.
The Norwegian government ended the strike on Tuesday. The Gudrun, Oseberg South and Oseberg East fields in the North Sea, which were closed Tuesday due to a labor dispute, have started increasing production, the operator said declared.
This is going to affect oil production and supply positively which may have favourable response on the price in future.
